Visual arts competitions and exhibitions have been a project of the state since 1899, providing juried exhibitions open to all Utah artists and a forum from which the Permanent Collection Committee can make acquisition recommendations.
This competition and exhibition is open to all Utah artists over the age of 18. The jurors prefer to see the works in person, but if you are unable to deliver your pieces to the host gallery, up to three slides may be submitted and sent to the Utah Arts Council.
Each Fall, an exhibition of the Statewide Annual Competition winners is shown at the Rio Gallery.
Utah '10: "Mixed Media and Works on Paper "Exhibition opens at the Rio Gallery |
