Funding Opportunities
Museum Studies Scholarships
Staff, board and volunteers of Utah museums can apply for tuition scholarships to semester-long college-level museum studies classes made available to every county in Utah through USU Regional Campus and Distance Education. More than one individual from each organization may apply. Completion of four courses leads to the Utah Certificate of Museum Practice. The next scholarship application deadline is July 20, 2012 for Fall 2012.

Arts Northwest Opportunity for Performing Artists
Utah-based touring performing artists can apply for up to $800 to help them attend Arts Northwest, the largest regional gathering of artists, artist management and presenters. The conference will be held in Boise, Idaho, October 15-18, 2012. Preference will be given to first time attendees and applications are due August 24.
OnStage in Utah
We recognize the important role of presenters in linking performing artists with Utah audiences. The OnStage in Utah competitive funding is available to Utah presenters to support public performances and outreach of in-state or out-of-state performing artists.
Capital Requests to Utah Legislature
Arts organizations and museums now have a formal process to request state financial assistance for capital facilities projects. You should apply for prioritization of your capital facilities project funding through the Utah Arts & Museums. Applications of your request will be forward to the appropriate board, either the Office of Museum Services Advisory Board or the Utah Arts Council Board of Directors. Each board will then provide the Governor's Office and State Legislature a list of prioritized capital facilities projects for consideration when constructing state budgets.
