This past July, teachers gathered for a two and a half day fused glass workshop. Under the supervision of Carrie Trenholm teachers learned fussed glass skills they could carry into their classrooms. In the workshop teachers created fish, robots and self portraits. They used materials like frit, stringer, confetti and glass for their projects. Carrie Trenholm, a previous secondary visual arts educator, and Beverly Taylor Sorenson Endowed Chair of Elementary Arts Education at Southern Utah University, is now the owner of Trenholm Glass.
