Jenna Ehlinger is our new Chase Home Museum Administrator and Accessibility Coordinator for the division. She has a master’s degree in folklore and public culture from the University of Oregon, a B.S. in anthropology from Wisconsin Lutheran College, and is a certified archaeologist. She got her start in museums working for the Milwaukee Public Museum’s anthropology department as an intern in research, exhibitions, and public programming. She worked at the Museum of Natural and Cultural History in Eugene, Oregon in public programming, exhibitions, and event coordinating. While working for Oregon Folklife Network, she coordinated the Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program and managed the event presentation series “Oregon Culture Nights,” featuring the apprenticeship artists. Additionally, Jenna worked as a job coach for persons with disabilities for three years. Her research includes medieval studies, Druidry, Celtic studies, neopagan religious origins, and the vernacular web. In her free time, Jenna enjoys playing her violin and harp, hiking, and reading.
